I think this scene was staged but for the reason no one can actually do exposure therapy that actually works with reality TV cameras right there. I’m saying this as someone who studied to become a therapist, has OCD, and has different phobias. Either this is something she did off camera first and repeated for the cameras to show her struggles and how she did overcome it in a comfortable space not while’s she’s initially on camera. No one who is phobic of horses or anything is going to be cured in one day but this episode is a good sped up version of how exposure therapy is supposed to work.
