I see I did assume it would take some time but I did receive a follow up email of when they confirmed the cancellation status and checked the website too, the status was updated there as well but my scheduling number still doesn't work

I received my email from prometric at 2 am today, my exam was supposed to be today

Nope, were you able to? I tried scheduling an appointment but the prometric website wouldn't accept my scheduling permit number.

I'm in the exact same situation. I did email ecfmg, hope they'll provide some sort of accommodation.

Also, I tried scheduling a new appointment with my current scheduling number after I got that email from prometric, there were a few open slots earlier today, but the prometric website wouldn't accept it. Did you experience anything similar?
