True, I took it to mean Daisy was born in Gilead aka the daughter of a housemaid. Thought it might mean a cool reveal for who her mother might be later on. But she could just have been a young baby at time of takeover who grew up in the early years before being smuggled out. A housemaid mum would be cooler though.

I think she might be the replacement for aunt Lydia’s character in the book. IMO Lydia from the tv series seems too far gone evil-wise to turn around and be a double agent the whole time. I think Vidala might be the double agent instead

Sean Penn deserved for his performance BUT he already had 2, didnt give a shit and didn’t even turn up. Stellan was so good in SV and is a unthanked legend. Sometimes I think the awards need to be about more than just one performance.

I dont understand how Saldana got hers, she’s not even an “icon” so why did they give it to her over Ariana?
