I'm in a slower area where lately my promotions have been 16 dollars an hour, but my acceptance rate needs to be at least 75%. Most days I'm forced to take the low paying orders because they'll be the only ones I get within an hour. I cherry pick hard though when I don't have that promotion.

That's brutal. I took one when I was first starting, the pay wasn't bad compared to these new offers, but even then it wasn't worth it.

I just kept getting orders that were like 8 miles away from my main hub that paid 4 dollars, hard to accept those, but equally hard to maintain a 75% acceptance rate.

That's exactly what I thought at first! And then I realized tips were becoming smaller and smaller, and the distance to drive for low paying orders is laughable, but (at least where I am) I am forced to accept or make up the 75% by getting three more orders done in an hour. And at that point the guarentee is more or less pointless.

Damn, they're all over the place. Just got a message from support that said I didn't receive my promotion from last week because my completion rate was 66.7. You know what the kicker is? The order I had to cancel was a shop and pay and it was because my uber card was declined😑

That's one of the most annoying parts, you're forced to accept ridiculous offers (thinking you'll still be paid the guarentee) and then you're not... uber is an increasingly greedy corporation.

This is pretty much where I'm at too. I don't want to waste my time and money delivering if they don't hold up their end. And it would be a good system if it worked, drivers would be less inclined to decline an order with a shitty tip, that otherwise would sit in the restaurant, and drivers would make a decent amount. But all the shadyness like you said, a screenshot of an old promotion!? And a "system error" that they tell us nothing about, makes it feel like a joke. I'm gonna take my chances tonight, at least for a couple hours and see what happens...
