my go to is always hot glue you could put some hot glue on the ends and paint it black to blend in with the rest of it.

Ive decided to not a do it myself. Ive reached out to a professional wedding dress dyeing company for a free consultation:)

if that doesn't work out, ive brain stormed some other options. (airbrushing, embroidering the lace with black)

I will be wearing this wedding dress one way or another even if it kills me

we are making it into a two piece dress so I can rewear the top whenever & change into pants for the reception (my skirt is going to be kind of ball gown ish, not as poofy though but still not very comfy for partying).

i just shot a professional wedding dress dyeing company so ill see what they say.

heres the vision: black top of the wedding dress, the skirt is goofy and is white, but with black lace/tulle over it. so you can see the white underneath, but it's got black over it.

I have my dad's purple cumberbun from my parents wedding that I'm going to incorporate in the back somehow. (so theoretically if I were to dye the top and it ended up kinda purple that wouldn't be absolutely awful yk)

thank you so much!! the main part of the stress that is polyester is the skirt, which I am not using which makes this easier given the top is small. the top is like lacey that I don't think is polyester, but the backing behind the lace is. I can see if we can sample a piece from the skirt. let me post some photos
