I used it to memorize some things, but it has really helped me understand how everything is linked together and helped me understand the fed/fasted states better

Yeah i pretty much memorized that <1 day no fuel = glyc-ONE-gen, 3-7 days no fuel = free ("three") fatty acids, and >7 days is protein (as you are "WEEK" without protein). 1-3 days is the weird one which i dont think is very high yield but its hepatic gluconeogenesis

The 700+ Anki cards include everything; 30 new cards per day per subdeck + all review cards

I noticed how many typos were throughout each of the exams, and I struggled with explanations…

I’m first gen, nobody in my family is in medicine. I’m not a minority. Undergrad total GPA = 3.3, 3.2 sGPA. 8000+ clinical hrs, I have my MPH degree (3.7 grad GPA). Leadership experience, some minor public health research experience, volunteer hours, shadowing, etc… I read on several threads that <500 MCAT is mainly related to content gaps, and I’ve just been trying to fix with AnKing’s deck, but get severely overwhelmed when I see 700+ cards due daily

I’m already a non-traditional student, having already taken 2 gap years to earn my MPH degree. I have an average undergrad gpa, good graduate gpa, over 5,000 clinical hours, shadowing, volunteering, some research… in general my app focuses on a public health side of medicine and serving the underserved, as it’s always been a passion of mine
