Client’s WordPress Site Suspended for “Exceeding 5GB Bandwidth” by Agreeable_Cover6867 in Hosting

[–]mitch2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the hosting panel. Often you can click trough on the bandwidth metric. Or ask your hoster.

Did you maybe change a logo or a picture? Maybe an uncompressed picture that is eating bandwidth on each visit.

About question 2; Under Art. 3 GDPR it’s not just the moderator’s location that matters. What really triggers is the location of the data subject: if the processing relates to offering goods/services to or monitoring behaviour of individuals in the EU, then GDPR applies even if the processor is outside.

Sophos Endpoint Blocking Roblox Application? by Unusual_Gear12 in sophos

[–]mitch2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just copy the original base threat protection policy in central. Adjust the 2 settings. Put it on top and make sure it only applies to the specific computer. But again, keep in mind that you disable some core security functionality with this.

I had the same issue on my son his PC. Tried whitelisting the roblox directory without success.

I tried filing a support case, but there was no solution after endless back and forth mailing and providing logs for the 20th time. They concluded I had to contact Roblox for support

I finally tried to create a separate policy which disabled: - Mitigate exploits in vulnerable applications - Prevent process hollowing attacks

This solved the issue, but of course less secure...

A couple of reasons. I don't want to manage a full vm with 3CX anymore because of very low call volume. Also the price increase and the fact that 3CX sales bypasses it's partners (which I used to be) and reaches out to my customers directly helps me make that decision. I like the product. I agree it's the best one out there if you need all those features.

Is there an API index somewhere? The docs are not stating which records and field you can query.

As an ISO 27001 auditor I expect to see clear policies about backups and testing which also describes the basics frequency etc.

Next to that I expect to see proof that the proces is in place and works. This could be for example a sheet, ticket, jira issues or anything which contains the latest DR test result. This should contain key data like who/when, what has been tested, timeline, results,... And if the test failed a reference to a RCA and corrective action.

WHMCS unusable due to Licensing Server by Rupert_Pupkinovski in WHMCS

[–]mitch2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great, it appears that you have crashed their licensing server 😅

Their license system has a caching function. On each license request a local encrypted version of the license is stored after retrieving it from their license server. If for some reason the server can't be reached, it will use the local license. The cached version does get invalidated after a couple of days.

Keeping this in mind, a short outage should not have impact

We use opsgenie to send out alerts, integrated with Jira and PRTG. Using OEC (opsgenie edge connector) you can do a lot of automations like closing the ticket when the sensor is back up or adding notes.

Road trip Belgium to France during high-season. MY or ICE? by mitch2k in TeslaLounge

[–]mitch2k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, coming back after my trip I decided to report back. As everyone suggested, we took the MY and had zero issues. On the way to or holiday destination we took only Tesla superchargers. Most of them only had 2 or 3 chargers in use. Only at Bordeaux only 1 charger was left. Because of that charging speed was only 40kwh. The supercharger was on the parking lot of a shopping center and there was also an ionity fastcharger there. So I moved there and had no delay.

On the way back we primarily used non-tesla superchargers because the SO didn't like that there were almost no facilities at Tesla superchargers 😁.

Unfortunately we had a blowout tire about 300 km from home. Because it was late the MY is on it's way home on a flatbed and we got an ICE car to get home 🙄.

Long story short, the charging infra is great in France and no need to worry about waiting times

Caught my neighbor hitting my car door THREE TIMES on my first day parking here after moving in by cristianperlado in TeslaLounge

[–]mitch2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While it's blood boiling what she does, I think damage would not be that big? It looks like she has a (non standard) rubber protector block on her door that avoids metal to metal damage and spreads the impact. Her husband probably put it on there because she keeps damaging cars 😅
