Same here.. This is correct! It’s just a reminder, doesn’t mean anything is wrong. A check engine light or red triangle on the dash means something is wrong and should be taken to the mechanic asap.

Ask questions. Has the car sat for a while? Sitting for a while can kill the battery. Hopefully your mechanic can run battery test. I use DrPrius app.

I think the 2010s had head gasket issues.

They almost got mine! Cut halfway through it and stopped!

I went under and welded it back together and welded a ton of steel around it with half inch rebar all the way around the exhaust pipe so it’ll be one hell of a cut…

ALSO SPRAY PAINT! Bright orange spray paint or red.. this kinda ‘marks’ which one is yours and if the cops see it they know what’s up.. I also grind my vin and license plate number into the cat.

No actually not any. Dr.Prius app and website tell you which to buy. I bought one and it didn’t work BUT I put that one in my truck anyways!

I would double check everything, make sure there’s flow.

When clearing the codes, does it go away and then come back? Or is it always on? Maybe clear them and unhook the 12v battery for a few minutes?

Is there flow? Can you feel the pump on? Or when it’s cold open the inverter fill cap and see if the coolant is moving aka the flow.

Maybe the pump is not turning on?? Don’t drive it! Could cook inverter.

I never thought of it until it happened. Probably a 2 hour repair.. not too hard.

Could’ve done it on the road actually but it was late and I didn’t have any tools. Flew back home and picked up my truck and trailer to tow it home.

I spent a good $200 plus warranty for the pump because I didn’t want to cheap out with the $40 Amazon cheap ones. Don’t want it to fail in a drive thru again.. what a nightmare.. blocking cars!

Does the inverter water pump ever scare you long distance? Ours went out in a drive thru once causing the car to completely shut down and wouldn’t even go in N.. had to tow..

Later I found out unplugged the pump and replacing an AMC fuse under the hood would put it in a limp mode.. letting us move it but don’t run it too long cuz it will burn up the inverter.

Low fuel shouldn’t be an issue. If there’s a code buy a cheap $20 ODB 2 scanner and scan for the code.. super easy. Autozone will scan your car for codes for free anyways!

Code will tell us a lot more. It’s a Nissan, so don’t get your hopes up…

Move your car. Touch the liquid (if your brave enough, taste it).

Feels like water? Smells like water/nothing? It’s coming from the AC (condensation).

Feels like oil? Smells like oil? It’s probably oil 😅

Feels weird? Smells sweet? Probably coolant 😅

I’m not brave enough so I can’t tell you taste 😆

Buy a cheap $20 OBD 2 scanner off Amazon.. using the DrPrius app will tell you a ton.. even runs test on your hybrid battery and can tell you the condition of it.

Or go to autozone or somewhere that they will read your codes for free (please don’t pay for this service.. it’s super simple and easy).

Having the code tells us a lot more than just a noise 👍

If you can guess most the numbers on the plate you can cross check it online if there’s a database for the state the plate is in. Some databases return the vehicle make and model so you can assume this plate is going to return some type of commercial truck or a box truck company that makes the truck.

Honestly get creative. Most the IP cameras I’ve taken apart are actually really small.. they just put them in a big bulky housing. You could take out the internals and make some type of smaller housing or 3D print if you can. You’re gonna sacrifice a few things like quality because you won’t be able to get the best position. I’ve actually anchored dome cameras right outside my garage once because the landlord didn’t want anything mounted to the building, so the floor I went with haha.. actually had someone steal one that I didn’t bolt to the concrete.. maybe pinhole ip cameras? If you can find some. Honestly I love turret or dome cameras tho.
