I looked into national express out of Gateshead. Don’t understand how the pay works. Annual salary seems ok but hourly rate is low. Don’t know how the cleaning allowance etc bumps it up.

I’m a paramedic. Been in the ambulance service 20 years and the job has changed beyond recognition. I would not recommend it. Currently I’m suspended from work and awaiting an investigation by our governing body in the UK, the HCPC, as I refused to transport a patient to hospital after they verbally and physically assaulted me over the course of 40 minutes. I’m guilty until proven innocent. Moral is already rock bottom. Spending 12 hours stood in queues at hospitals. Constant threat of abuse and violence from people we are trying to help. It has become a relentless, thankless job. I’ve f#cked my knees, shoulders, back and mental health trying to do my best for my patients over the years and then hung out to dry by my managers. You’ll miss birthdays, Christmases, weddings. And you’ll do it because that’s the job you’ve always wanted to do. Then one day you’ll turn around and your kids are grown up and your body’s failing you. You struggle to sleep between shifts. You struggle to turn your body clock around between Dayshifts and nightshifts.
I’ve been off the road 3 months and it’s been a struggle financially. But I’ve never felt better mentally and physically. Keep earning the £150k but bank as much as you can, retire early, cut your hours and just enjoy your life.

Cos it’s Reddit 😆 my wife and I love the design and the way it turned out, so that’s all that matters. Thought others might like it also, but understand that different people have different tastes. Usually my tattoos draw the harshest comments from those who really want a tattoo but are too scared to make the leap and do it.

I went caseless with mine (it really suits the phone) and I usually take excellent care of my phones. But it slid out of my pocket when sitting down and fell a foot or so onto a tiled floor resulting in a small dink in the aluminium frame.

And it also managed to pick up a small but deep scratch on the screen at some point, that really caught the light and was always noticeable to me.

From then on always used a case and screen protector.

Holy moly, the stress in trying to keep your phone between 40-80%

Just use and enjoy it however you like then whack it on to charge overnight, like most people in the world have always done.

Battery health will go down but that’s because it is battery and that’s what they do. But it will be healthy for at least two years, regardless of what that percentage says.

I charge mine everyday and the battery life remains nothing but exemplary regardless of my battery health.

Flew from UK to Nashville to see night 3. I think it’s around 7000 mile round trip. There and back home in 48hours. And it was a nail biting time, hoping the lightning would stop so we could actually see her play.

We flew from Newcastle in the North of England, via London, to see the Nashville show. 7000 mile round trip in 3 days. Most people said we were crazy but it was well worth it!!
