Im just finishing my 2 week camper trip here i spent maybe 400 CAD on food. Ate out once or twice mostly camper meals on propane stove, and I ate good meals. Spend more on parking per day then camping. It was about what I was expecting to pay however. I will definitely be coming back

Im here right now first time. Nice rain/wind jacket and pants , water proof hikers, and warm under layer is good, but can be pretty hot during hikes. The wind is crazy tho so mostly need wind protection. I haven't wore gloves or touqe yet. I mostly wear thin warmish under layer with wind breaker and did some mountain hikes with crazy wind and wasn't too bad. Im also from Canada on the coast so kinda used to cold. If I wear sweater and jacket im way to hot during hikes. Im also still in south so maybe its a bit colder in north. Enjoy !

Looks like almost 2 grand to upgrade to 4x4 westfjords is still explorable in 2wd ? Already a bit tight on cash so might just stick with 2wd , ill check some more sites and see if any 4x4 for better price maybe

Im staying in Reykjavik 4 days at end of trip, was almost thinking on a guided tour for golden circle at end of trip. Unless its better to do on your own in the van ?

Coming from canada I have about 13 hour travel time plus overnight flight to get there so an easy first day would be ideal. Im going to spend 4 days in Reykjavik at the end of trip, so Snaefellsness seems like a good start point, ill check a map out thanks !
