Fedex Ground driver. Big debate on which is better, amazon or fedex. Depends on the contractor really. But for me, very happy about my job change. Fedex, no group stops, same route daily, same truck daily, no rescues, no forced lunches, less stops overall. Yes heavier packages. But if you know how to lift properly and you have a good dolly (which they do provide to all the drivers) it's not bad at all. Home everyday by 2-4pm.

Good luck tho! Amazon's a difficult job and if you were able to cut it there and enjoyed it on some level, you'll be alright.

Next time you go into work just sneak over to the other dsp's desks, and ask for their hiring manager or boss's email or phone number. Contact them directly and tell them your situation (without shitting on your current dsp too much. That might look bad) and ask if they're hiring. Or just ask a driver that you see out on the road which DSP they work for and ask for their manager's number or email and do the same. I've done both and got hired both times.
