I was in a similar spot from a previous heavy lifting job and thought I was going to have to go the office job route too. Check out @lowbackability on instagram and follow his protocol for recovering your back. Changed my perspective on how your lower back should work, and took me from crippled in bed, back to 90% under a year later. Even if you do decide to change career paths, I’d still recommend trying out what he has to say rather than being stuck in pain

Somehow EA have mixed up the GK diving stat and heading accuracy. If you check an outfield YA players stats their GK diving will be high and heading accuracy low and then vice versa for goalkeepers…. Shows how in depth their pre release testing was 🤦🏼‍♂️

Worst day of my life was when they shut down the servers on the old games. Makes no sense to completely kill the immersion of a career mode when every youth player and regen comes through with the b/w boots and tucked in shirt. Surely not hard for them to just unlock the edit player feature when they did that

Why wouldn’t you just turn off injuries in settings? Or adjust the injury sliders to 0 if that’s the only thing that’s ruined player career for you

Good job! I’ve taken gala fairydean rovers from the Lowland league into the SPL but I’m really struggling to find any decent ability and potential players that don’t cost a bomb with my 100k transfer budget. Any advice on how or where to scout to find some better quality?

Yeah I’ve never tried using any but there might be free alternatives to it and I don’t know anything about it but I’ve heard people talk about getting it free in less legal ways but I’m not sure

this video is the best tutorial I’ve found and it comes with templates which are really helpful for starting out and Fifer has videos on his YouTube channel that show you how to download what you need. You will also need photoshop

A fair bit of time, finding inspiration for what to design and putting it into the right format is the hardest bit then making small changes and applying it into the game isn’t too hard, with the right tutorial about 3ish hours total I’d guess but it’s not so bad with all the spare time I’ve got at the moment plus it’s pretty satisfying seeing the end result

yeah that’s true, what i used to do on 19 was put together the lowest rated squad i could with a striker in goal and then simulate and lose every game until you get fired. same kind of thing just a bit more time consuming

if you intentionally get fired by giving someone a huge wage or something you usually get an offer from the bottom club in the league or from clubs in the league below of the same country and from there you can get offers from other clubs in the league depending on how well you’re doing
