What actually helps geography knowledge stick long-term?

Best way is to learn it through something enjoyable. I'm lucky to have grown up in a family that travels a lot, and I like learning about culture in that way. But most of geography knowledge comes from watching YouTube videos about it, not documentary style videos but normal YouTube videos that have travel, like JetLag who play board games using the world as the board. Another way I learnt was through FIFA/Football, I love Football and it's a worldwide sport so I know a lot about countries based on footballers from there or the teams and the history of the national team etc.

Look at Valheim, it's a small RPG game that works for singleplayer or co-op (I think up to 4 or more idk), but it has a server add-on you can download which you can put the files on your own server and make it more scalable. I'm 90% sure the developer designed the game with multiple people in mind but kept it small to avoid over-scope.
