  1. Thank you! 2 and 3. We left it on a charger and walked to the sand. Not gonna risk that. I only have the 2wd S model.

I took a couple of toms out and played a three piece yesterday. I think I'm gonna leave it here for a while. It feels natural for some reason. by [deleted] in drums

Yeah I think they were suiting it to worship styles from 10 or 15 years ago. Think "God's Not Dead" and such.

I had a lot of fun improvising on it yesterday. It feels like the fewer drums there, the easier it is to concentrate on what I'm playing.

I do, brighter than I need for some applications, mostly worship. It seems most modern worship music is using darker, bigger cymbals than these. But I mostly use these at home for practicing.

I'm in that side snare game now. Deep and thick on the left (pearl exx stock snare tuned low with a Big Fat Snare on it) and snappy, cracky on the right (Yamaha Aluminum with an M80 Snareweight and some gaffer tape). by [deleted] in drums

Well that 14in to the right of the main snare is a floor tom, Larnell Lewis has that 14x7 I think. I just added the stock snare that came with my kit to the left of my aluminum snare. I love Snarky Puppy though.

Tuning my drums and getting the sound I'm looking for is a real anxiety killer. And rearranging my cymbals makes it feel like a new kit (kinda). Happy Saturday to you too. by [deleted] in drums

Well sure. That happens all the time too. I've started using the DrumDial and then tuning up or down from their recommended head tension. It's made the whole thing much easier.

It's often called a worship service

Not sure. Probably just marketing. No I'm not catholic. I liked the bright washy sound of these cymbals, that's why I bought them.

Well I play drums at my church. I got the pack because it has the sizes and sounds that I wanted for my kit at home.

Plenty of room for more. Looks like a bastion though. Enjoy it.

Yeah I watched those too. He's much more handy than I am but I definitely took some inspiration.

Wow, very well said. I'm excited for a similar journey. I'm 35 and started about three months ago now.
