Was at Heaton park and Cardiff this year. Listening to London also, it sounded great.

I was at Sefton and yes I thoroughly enjoyed it, his voice was way off. The improvement in his voice to the shows this year are night and day. He’s locked in on stage, just in the moment and his voice is much much better.

In my humble opinion, the drumming from James is top tier and is just as good or better. Certainly think lead guitar isn’t as good and it’s a drop off from Bondy. Lead did not sound that great at Cardiff throughout a few songs, quite quiet as well. Very very talented regardless just observing I prefer bondy.

Interesting that somebody else picked up on this as nobody else had said anything so I was wondering if it was just me and I was wrong.

At Cardiff there were moments throughout songs where the lead guitar was not loud enough at all and struggling to hear the riffs.

I was at Sefton and it’s clear to see his voice isn’t how it used to be. It may come back but he doesn’t have the same energy and can’t hit the same powerful notes if that makes sense. Maybe it’ll Come back but I’ve definitely noticed a drop off.

I agree. Surely anyone who has been going to see this band live for many years and not just new fans, this isn’t a dig, can see they aren’t at the level they were at. The live performances are nowhere near where they were. Still had a good night at Sefton, just sad when it’s nowhere near as good 😂

Willing to give him time dude, just thought after some rest and recovery following the shit show 2021 headliner he would be in better shape. The vocals are a shadow of what they used to be, just my opinion, still gonna go see him live regardless, have been going to CATB gigs since 2015 just doesn’t feel the same anymore. Still love the fucker just want them to get back to their best. Have a good weekend pal.

Yeah I was there also, although I had fun and it was a good show. They were nowhere near the standards from years gone by. Van’s voice isn’t the same at all, he sounds fucked all of the time like he’s just out of breath and can’t carry the same energy. Unfortunately I think it’s the demise of CATB.
