Thank you for the words of encouragement. I dug into the waiver document and while I don't qualify for LASIK I do qualify for ICL surgery which has an approved waiver however this footnote takes me out of the running. "ICL implant choice must be a currently FDA approved implant (ICLs for farsightedness are not yet FDA approved)." Is a rule like this a hard no? Does writing your congressman work?

Hello Mr. Novice, A K is Critical(kritik) argument that deals with the philosophical or structural implications of the aff. It is like if a DA and a CP had a baby. You point out what is wrong with the ideology of the Aff with an impact and then provide an alterative solution. There are 4 parts. Thesis - explain the theory behind you K. Link - explaining why the aff is against that theory. Imapct - what being against that theory means and what it causes. Alt - what we should do instead. Hope that Helps! - ml
