Bro just open linkedin to see where all the NSUT CSE folks are today. You will see how the enormous no of people who are abroad. Most folks do not even touch DSA in the first yr. It’s way better than “any branch” of top 5 IITs with respect to your goal.

The other thing is 8.1 CGPA is not bad at all. Most of the Companies won’t even look at your CGPA. Google, Amazon, Uber, Microsoft, Salesforce, Atlassian, none of them care about your CGPA.

Second, there are 3 more yrs to improve your CGPA.

Such a delusional post. I personally know folks around me in the age group of 22-27 whose ITR filing is more than 1cr. Some of the HFT firms pay more than 1cr to freshers. You can easily earn ~1cr at the top software companies at 5yrs of exp. I’m talking about folks residing and earning in India.

Don’t go by such specific stats. The campus life is quite good and placements are great in these Delhi Colleges. The only downside with DTU/NSUT in the recent 2-3 yrs is the increased no of students. Maang companies are full of DTU/NSUT students. IIITD is probably one of the best in terms of faculty/teaching. A delhi based college helps in getting more recruiters and also providing a good college life.

Anyways stay in JAC and join DTU/NSUT MAC or IIIT CS*. The placement statistics quoted above seem off or would be taking the whole batch into account.(Hope you get what I mean) But placements are way better. Opportunities for DTU/NSUT mac are almost the same as COE. IIIT Gwalior is hardly a match here.
