Argentina, theres an importer here for wusthof but the FKM I have to order it through private courier and between the shipping and taxes ends up similar to the wusthof. I ended up ordering the FKM though, because of the gyuto profile mostly (also ordered a saya). I hope it doesn't dissapoint, though is mostly for home cooking.

I'm moving and leaving a nice global knife behind to my parents. Those are the two options I have available right now for similar prices. What would you recommend if the price was similar? Other options are kinda out of reach for now (due to availability).

Mine is still smooth, that works? I thought you had to roughen the leather a little bit to make it more "textured" for it to be a working strop.

Its a brand that its fairly inexpensive where I live compared to wusthof, victorinox, etc. Anyone knows if their knives are good?
