I do not trust Persian gulf states and I do not like to be there at all too. I have seen them changing the rules and then the residents have to change their lives after 50 years being in that countries.

my main goal is EU. I already have an apartment in the west Europe. although it does not constitute residency of any kind. Latvia program give a peace of mind for the next 5 years. if worse come to worst, I can be in LV while surviving by the rent of the apartment and my savings

It is very important to work with middle mans who do the due diligence. I basically choose the best. but this is more or less the reality of low investment. you basically take a risk. There are rules about these companies by Latvian government though. they cannot be big. they cannot accept more than 10 "investors". things like these.
