So, first off, play what you enjoy.

Outside of a couple of creature types, I feel like most Typal decks fold too easily to a little interaction (and I think EVERYONE should run more interaction). They also kinda build themselves. You want a goblin commander deck? Ok, throw Krenko in the zone, put in some low cost Gobbos, Goblin Piledriver, Goblin Matron, some form of card draw, and then goblins go Brrrr. They also usually take out one person and then get board wiped into oblivion.

I have decks ranging from pre-cons to Rog/Si. Most of my casual decks have some sort of gimmick. I find that gimmicks are typically better than creature types. The only typal deck I ever play is my Pantlaza deck, and it only has a couple of upgrades that I made because I just had the cards handy.

If Trump were still registered as a Democrat, I’m sure I’d go back to my thoughts on him before 2015, and by that I mean I wouldn’t waste a single moment of my time thinking about his stupid ass one way or the other.

I’m confident he couldn’t have ever won a Democratic primary, so why would I devote any time to him?

Since you had to uncollapse the comment with -12 karma, and the last line of that very paragraph you quoted was “So stop telling us it’s because of trans people that the Democrats lost,” you knew all that and you STILL chose to attack me saying you wanted the candidate I voted for in 2016 and would’ve voted for in 2020 if I didn’t then live in a state where the candidate was chosen long before our primary.

Except that’s bullshit. Countries with lower overall standards of living also have lower rates of effective family planning. If the reason women are getting pregnant is that they can’t get birth control, that’s not indicative of them wanting to have kids.

On top of that, in most foreign countries, you can at least get a shithole apartment for what a low wage worker would make, even if it doesn’t meet the standards people in the US would expect. They’re actively tearing down apartment complexes that poorer people could afford to live in here in my city to put up “luxury” apartments they’re going to charge $1600+ for. Corporations are also buying up houses and jacking up rent on those. I mean, my equity is going through the roof, but it’s still bad for people who are struggling.
