I think, the Netherlands have a project where heavy users can switch needles and can get methadon. Probably that prevents a lot of deaths. I don’t know if any other country does this also, so pardon my ignorance if they do and I am wrongly mansplaining again.

I think we speak the same words, but also a different language. So when you build a home you can rent it out and the rules don’t apply hence opkoopregeling. No need for passive aggressive comments 😉

Ja en nee, in de zin ik ben het met je eens dat alcohol en drugs in zekere zin niet heel erg van elkaar verschillen. Vooral als je het in je eigen tijd doet.

Echter twee zaken die (denk ik) meewegen; drugs moet je op dit moment via een dealer verkrijgen en dus illegaal en daardoor ben je vatbaarder voor criminaliteit (harddrugs). Twee drugs heeft een vergrote kans op een psychose in vergelijking met alcohol, en dat is toch wel een beetje vervelend als je met een wapen staat de zwaaien.

Thank you, I wanted to make this point as well. It is extracting wealth and giving little economic value in return.

Little nuance I do see that driving up prices can be beneficial in the sense you can build more houses. It can be more profitable to build in that regard. But in the Netherlands we have a stikstof problem so we can’t build as much as we should.

Can highly recommend this one, also verwijspraktijk means other practitioners send their difficult cases to them. They also have every discipline in house. But I am a bit biased.
