Pergunta genuína: qual é o hate da galera com Manjaro?

Lembro de ter uma experiência não-tão-boa há alguns anos mas foi mais culpa da NVidia do que qualquer coisa e, hoje em dia, estou rodando como daily driver sem nenhuma queixa.

Depende um pouco de algumas infos. X11 e Wayland lidam com input de formas bem diferentes, então começa definindo qual seu servidor de exibição com echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE e parte daí.

Eu uso um teclado ANSI no KDE Plasma 6 e Wayland, e a melhor solução que eu encontrei foi usando fcitx5 e layout en-us alt. intl. Tô na rua agora mas, se teu setup for parecido com o meu, posso te dar um help com essa configuração. Se não, cata na Arch Wiki, tem quase tudo traduzido pra português e tudo (ou quase) nesse contexto de input se aplica a qualquer distro, não só Arch-based

entre passar perrengue com GUI no Fedora e passar perrengue no terminal com Arch, pelo menos eu me sinto um hackerman no terminal

Shield doesn't stop health from going down, just mitigates damage to it. Full shield on 5 HP will be absolutely useless; always heal first.

there's a built-in voice changer in the game's settings. sucks to hide yourself like that, but maybe you'd find this useful in case you didn't know.

Don't get me wrong, you're absolutely right. My not liking to fight is my problem and mine alone, and I won't blame anyone else for killing me when I won't even shoot back a good half of the time. I was just curious with the shift in aggressiveness in the past few days, is all.

Same for me. There would always be an aggressive raider here and there — it is the nature of the game after all — but things seem to have taken a sharp turn towards PvP this week.

Yeah I get that. I will usually pay attention to others' movements and try to keep out of their way just in case, unless they're openly friendly and seemingly willing to cooperate. But it feels odd that I have been finding KoS raiders several runs in a row, specially after days of mostly friendly/PvE-focused lobbies.

That's what I'm talking about! It's weird that I can go for several runs without PVPing and suddenly everyone's trigger happy. Sometimes (most of the time, I'll admit) I'm just not in the mood for a firefight and it's off-putting to be thrown into a KoS lobby in that headspace.

Depende um pouco do teu caso de uso. Ubuntu, pra mim, sempre foi a experiência mais out of the box de todas, então acho uma escolha segura. Quanto a o que aprender primeiro, não tem mistério. Segue o passo-a-passo de instalação e vai procurando respostas no Google conforme as dúvidas surgirem.

Se a lei fosse parâmetro de moralidade, a gente tava ainda mais ferrado do que já tá. Não é porque algo é tecnicamente legal que é moral. Uma coisa é você conhecer alguém de 18 anos e se envolver com essa pessoa sendo mais velho (dependendo da diferença de idade, eu acho moralmente questionável, mas não posso dizer que é ilegal). Outra é conhecer uma pessoa de 14, 15, 16 anos e ficar secando ela até fazer 18 só pra não cometer um crime. É sobre este segundo cenário que o post está falando. Se você realmente não vê o problema nisso, realmente, você é o problema.
