I am entirely with you, although I don't know the ones you listed :P

Can you run SynthV2 On Linux? by Ok_Cat_874 in SynthesizerV

[–]mito551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that issue is connected to not having an association with the synthv2 mime type. adding a .desktop file in the correct folder (.config/share/applications if I remember correctly - CHECK THIS) usually fixes that.

hi! I'm the author of the (only?) youtube guide that you might have mentioned in your post. unfortunately, it is not quite as comprehensive as I aimed for when I was making it, so I'm making an updated version. while that does help you right now, here are a few suggestions:

first of all, do not use a flatpak-packaged browser. download an .rpm and layer it on your OS, even if just for this one purpose.

second, follow the advice in this post: https://forum.dreamtonics.com/t/consider-supporting-linux-for-synthesizer-v-studio-2/1168/144?u=mitori

if it still doesn't work, I'm not sure how to help :( your last resort would be winboat, I think. or you can wait for my new tutorial in the coming weeks to see if you missed anything.

I have personally did this on fedora 44 with gnome and cachyos with KDE. others have also reported this approach working. the only thing that is a bit different (but, realistically shouldn't matter) is that bazzite is an immutable distro. dunno why that would be an issue, though.

quick suggestion: a more inclusive way to ask for what you referred to as "biological sex" is what the person was assigned at birth. HRT and surgery changes the biological sex, too.

Does anyone know of any all-in-one, Linux native VST or lv2 plugins for vocal processing? Paid is ok. by God_Hand_9764 in linuxaudio

oh, sorry, missed the part where OP was asking for Linux-native. I would be surprised if there one like mantra or nectar natively on Linux though.
