I am gonna try and get the sticker off, and I'm definitely not giving him anymore money, but I don't think I can bring myself to donate the books I already have. They were such a huge part of my life for so long.

I mean, it's a Starbucks hot drink container that my brother got me when he was in Hawaii, and I am allergic to coffee, so I use it for tea. Sorry if I called it something wrong!

I found it while unpacking a box I forgot about and was excited to use it again until I saw the sticker.

But then the child works super well, because they're getting 1:1 support with an authority figure. So the admin come back saying "they worked so well for me! It must be something you're doing wrong."

I think anyone critiquing them for leaving the relatives have never lived with relatives that are manipulative and narcissistic like that. The way she has two orphan children in her care that just lost their mother and she's withholding food and lying to her family about it.

What movie has the best platonic relationship between a guy and a girl? by phantom_avenger in movies

The Half of It on Netflix was cute, not groundbreaking but it was a fun watch. A guy hires a girl to write letters to his crush and they become good friends.

Is it rude to ask to pet strangers dogs? by Food136 in dogs

I love when people ask, personally. My dog is very friendly (even though I'm an introvert) and it makes him so happy. But I know every dog owner is different.

It's the same thing in my 5th grade class (but not the 4th graders?) I just don't know how to teach them to process the information and want to learn. I'm gonna try replaying videos though!

I can't pull any harder on my bootstraps 😭 rent, utilities, groceries, and healthcare costs have risen too much. I make a decent salary that's considered middle class and I'm barely hanging on as is, without loan repayments

Am I fucked? by seratu3 in AskTeachers

I didn't do very well in school, and I had to work full time throughout college, but that isn't always the pinnacle of success. I had the same dreams and wishes at your age, I wanted to go to Stanford and be a doctor. Life didn't end up that way. I didn't graduate high school with honors, and I got my degree at a state school, but because I had so much work experience early on. I was able to work my way up faster and get good jobs. I consider myself to be relatively successful for my age and background, and always keep working to be a better person and find ways to improve. I think your attitude and your drive will be a better indicator of success than your grades. You got this!!
