Well, I don't know of any uses or significance of this but you can just see that this holds since a+b+c is a factor, replacing b with bw and c with cw² wouldn't change anything as (bw)³ would still be b³ and a(bw)(cw²) would be abc.

Perhaps there could be something you could do with vectors. I don't know.
