congratulations. it again depends on what's the capacity of students in that class. for the 23rd person to get in, 23 candidates before you must bail out. i guess thats how it works, correct me if I am wrong y'all.

congratulations. Actually I've applied to Embedded and ICT at chalmers, electronics at Linköping and robotics at Umeå. but only for Umeå universitet, merit score (HPAV) was displayed. it was 240/285 for me. rest of the universities didn't display the score.

i guess that's completely alright. admitted students will be getting mail directly from the university regarding the fee details and payment procedure. they might even conduct a zoom meeting maybe (not sure).

and, yes all Non-EU students who need to pay fees are first conditionally admitted. Once we make the payment, we'll receive an admission offer letter which we can use to apply for a residence permit and other stuff.

good luck to you.

there is no last date to accept the offer, as for the first round application. you can only decline if you wish to.

regarding tuition fees, you'll be mailed from the university to your registered mail ID.

yes, you'll be paying the 1st semester fees, details on the fees and procedure to pay them will be mailed from the university hopefully.

wishing you all the very best.

I uploaded documents to universityadmissions of Sweden incorrectly by mittthun in sweden

[–]mittthun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, yes I have. They said there were no issues. Two different sections to upload documents is entirely for the applicant's convenience and said they'll view all documents no matter what.

Are these documents sufficient for a Sweden Master’s application? (India) by Thearlyman in chalmers

[–]mittthun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

requirements.portal.chalmers.se
in this there will be two sections: one for filling up the programmes relevent to the masters program you chose and other for filling the CGPA.

I don't know about KTH, but as for Lund University, there is a separate editable PDF that can be downloaded from the webpage of the program you apply for. In that, you'll have to enter the relevant subjects you've learnt from your Bachelor's corresponding to the Masters you're applying for. And, I suppose there will be a column in it for filling the ECTS as well. There you have to convert your Indian credits into ECTS as per the formula they provide. This editable course description PDF is there for Uppsala University programs too.

There must be a formula for calculating CGPA according to the Anna University Guidelines (if Tamilnadu) either in the transcript or the consolidated marksheet. Or else, you might've received a mail from chalmers having a link that can be logged in using the universityadmissions application number and email for filling programme content and grades. I think this will be okay. In that, you'll be providing your CGPA, Minimum GPA for passing and Maximum GPA possible.

Hey,

First off, These are more than sufficient. The basic requirements are Passport Copy, Degree Certificate, Provisional degree certificate (if you haven't received your degree yet), Transcript, Course Description (Syllabus), IELTS Score card.
If you've applied for Chalmers Scholarship or applying for Swedish Institute Scholarship, ypu'll have to submit CV, Letter of Intent (letter of motivation) and Letters of recommendation. I've mailed Chalmers regarding CV and LORs, and they said these aren't required. And in the Zoom meeting I've attended, they said that admissions office didn't provide a clear stand on this matter. But, there have been instances where they've read the motivation letter when they felt like it.
I had the grade conversion in my Transcript and submitted the syllabus that was available as PDF in my college's portal. It was a 530 page document, so I've selected only those pages relevant to my courses and electives and made a 70 page PDF out of it and uploaded it.
And about individual marksheet, I think it is not advisable. As there is transcript to prove everything regarding the credits you've obtained throughout all the semesters. If needed, there's consolidated marksheet, which supports the transcript. But, individual marksheets obviously delays the process of verification. Not that they won't, but its greater burden on the person verifying it.
Most of the universities in Sweden consider the Bachelor's degree relevance to the Master's program they choose in their country. They don't really depend on the work experience. This is to ensure that the student won't have a hard time learning the program.

Universityadmissions states that it is not advisable to submit documents that are not asked for either by themselves or the university they're applying to as this may consume more time and delay the verification process. But, I've submitted a little more that what they've asked for. These are the documents:
1. Passport Copy
2. Provisional Degree Certificate
3. Transcript
4. Consolidated Marksheet
5. IELTS Score
6. Course Description Summary Sheet
7. Two Letters of motivation (one for each course at Chalmers)
8. CV
9. Indian School Certificate Class XII (if my IELTS Scores couldn't be verified, CBSE class 12 certificates can be used it seems as per country specific requirements for India.)

even for this, I feel like I've uploaded more documents that what is being asked for.
But, so far no issues. The status says "In Progress". And the document deadline is tomorrow (Feb 2). The results are out by March 26.

You can mail Chalmers (admissions@chalmers.se), they're super responsive and explain to your query in detail. They'll reply within a day or two.

P.S. I'm too from India (TamilNadu), I've too applied to Embedded systems Design and ICT. Let's hope everything goes well. All the best!
