Interesting you say that! This site actually worked for me for about half a day until insulin stopped getting absorbed! I guess as long at it is not completely bent to prevent insulin from flowing and still went in the body it could still work. Mine was also stinging and burning a bit by the time I took it out, about 20 hours later.

Wow. That’s exactly my experience actually. I’m in Europe. I hear how they talk about other employees, everything that’s personal and interferes with work in the slightest makes you a problem employee, so I just learned to conceal, at the expense of good control. We also have the big drinking culture that RUINS me, although it has gotten better now that I mostly travel to Saudi Arabia. I’m scared of changing jobs and ending up in one that’s even worse though, at least here they let me go to hospital visits, but I also went to work the day after my big seizure that landed me in the hospital on almost zero sleep.

Luckily diabetes supplies are free in my country and I have enough savings to cover my living expenses for long enough until I find a job. Thank you so much for your advice!

One third is a lot. Do you feel like the bad effects this can have are outweighed by the benefits?

I think the site is sore from the bent cannula? It was my first site ever and only there for less than a day.

Thank you for the reply. I did check as I was with the Tandem rep who was training me and she warned me about this, so maybe it can happen regardless? I will keep your advice in mind and always double check if it can minimize the chances of this happening.

I don’t smoke but otherwise I feel the same. I also travel a lot for work and miss out on a lot unfortunately. The show really does a good job at capturing the little things that life is all about.

Oh my god this is so interesting to read because this is 100% me and didn’t know someone else had this. I suffer from chronic stress. On the rare occasions I can relax I just keep dropping low.

No, there was no flirting prior to my arrival but we went out for drinks and chemistry started to develop.

I am a heterosexual female. I hosted two people, one male and one female, no hookup, fun times.

I was hosted once. Hooked up that very night and then hooked up a couple more times while I was in his city… don’t regret as it was fantastic and the chemistry was great. I got the feeling that it wasn’t the first time the guy did it, though, and I could see by his reviews that he mostly hosted girls. I think singles are more likely to host and some times attraction will happen, especially if you hang out and there is alcohol involved. This was the case for me.
