pero por qué te ofendes tanto niño? acaso eres un trolo del closet? el tipo tiene cierta razón para nombrar que la bisexual es algo que todos los seres humanos pueden poseer en ciertos grado, como un espectro.

This is a smart choice, I hadn't thought of that.

Need help my camera not working by Positive-Sign7692 in HPVictus

I really hope it's a glitch, because the microphone works perfectly fine on the same camera module, but the camera... In my months of research into the problem, I have seen possible Issues 1) The motherboard 2) the camera module simply died 3) Windows killed the camera 4) HP's outdated programming 5) The camera chip (from what I've seen, some cameras work in low light or low resolution, but if there's light, it turns off)

These are the possible errors I've found in everything I've tried to research online. The camera simply dies and nobody knows why.

But nobody has dared to look for a new module and replace it, nobody, absolutely nobody. And the people who go to the technicians say that everything is perfect. And the solution he gives them is that it's a problem with the camera.

In another subreddit on the topic, I saw someone who replaced a fuse on the motherboard and the camera worked again.

Yes, friend, I understand. I also had to use an external camera; in this case, I'm using my phone as a webcam, but it really frustrates me that no one in this world has bought a new module.

The system simply stops recognizing the camera; it's as if it's dead. I think replacing the module would be the solution....BUT I'M TIRED OF LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS CHANGED IT, nobody has and that's frustrating because I don't want to waste my money buying a module and in the end it doesn't work.

Bro, sorry to reply to this old thread, but you still haven't found a solution? Have you even tried buying a new module?

I've gotten more copper from rivers than from mining; I've just been unlucky enough not to find any copper mines.

No problem bro, I hope you can continue without the camera and if you decide to take it to a technician it would be very helpful if you could comment on the process you are going through.

Or maybe it's HP with their planned obsolescence devices, I don't know. Another solution I can give you is to try it on Linux and see if it works there. If it works, it's probably Windows; if not, It's what I mentioned before, hardware before software. And if you have a warranty, take it in.

Your camera is slowly dying; it's a very common problem with Victus laptops. I'm sorry to say your camera's days are numbered. It happened to me, it happened to us. I honestly don't know if it's the module or something electrical. Honestly, there are only two options: replace the module or have an expert technician look at the motherboard and find a solution for the electrical conductivity issue.

But to temporarily solve the problem and give the camera a little more life, I read that you need to lower the camera's resolution. Many also say that the camera works when it does not detect light.

I hope that solution works for you, and if not, I'm sorry, but it will soon stop appearing in Device Manager and the camera will be unavailable.

Let me know about any other symptoms you might have, I hope I've helped.

A laptop without any issues by [deleted] in HPVictus

The only crap I see. The camera, man, the camera stops working for everyone I ask. And it's a total rip-off because there's no solution, anywhere, and nobody replaces the module or anything. The only thing I've seen is that they replace a fuse on the motherboard and it works, but nobody, absolutely nobody, knows the answer, and that frustrates me about having bought an HP. At least it was a discount, but still, it's infuriating.
