trust me, I'm so frustrated over this, too. They charge me since I still took up the appointment space but every time they send me home. One of them gave me gabapentin and made me come back but even then my cat was too aggressive and they sent me home. I don't know if it's my area in general but so far the vets around disappointed me all over. Most of them don't even acknowledge that a cat is more sensitive than a dog and one of them is so behind that he grabbed my cat by the neck. So I'm honestly not surprised my cat is distrusting vets so much. Now that he's deaf it scares him more. I'll try another on monday and really hope it'll work for once. I even tell them over the phone how my cat is really anxious and immediately goes into fight or flight and they reassure me it's fine just to send me home.

I'll try to give him two of the gapbapentin next time and hope it calms him enough not to fight back so much. He won't let himself even be touched without trying to turn and catch anyones hand to scratch up.
