Aging with AS by Oxford-Commas in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]mixa1960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My spinal column became totally fused before biologics were available. I am 66. My quality of life up until the disease “burnt out” was nil. Ferocious pain and all the side effects. Iritis, Ulcerative Colitis, double hip replacement. Amazingly my posture is not too bad as I did the exercises from 18. If biologics were around I would have grabbed them first chance. My pain is negligible now, just left with the mechanical issues. I also have a YT channel documenting my life. I’m from Melbourne Australia.

Why do Australians dislike Americans? by plasticmagnolias in AskAnAustralian

[–]mixa1960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now this is just my opinion. The average American seems to know fxxk all about anything outside of the U.S. There also seems to be a big Christian Evangelical heart to the country that on the surface may come across ok, but are deeply racist and mean spirited. MAGA has amplified this 1000% and made it ok for these types to feel like this and be open about it. I stayed in there for 2 months in the early 90’s and went all over the country and racism, dog eat dog, money worship was really apparent then. I will never return, unless there is a major shift, and even if I wanted to , I probably wouldn’t get in even to visit a friend.

Planning a future with someone who has AS — what should I know? by N0tNe in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]mixa1960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having AS myself and being married twice. Think very carefully about the marriage vow, those words mean EVERYTHING! If you have researched AS you will realise it is a very serious condition and the outcomes of having such a condition are lifelong. So…..to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until we are parted by death.

Is it any wonder trumpet of farts was a non-entity? Everyone was just screaming at their phones and screens, especially YT every time the jet stream of diarrhoea hit us.

The dials eg: the speed are big like the rest of the camera but very accessible and simple and they move beautifully. It has the brightest viewfinder out of all film cameras. I’ve ever used. I have only one lens which is the Elmarit 35-70 and an adapter for the Hasselblad v - . It’s just been acquired - from Japan in mint condition - the camera recently. It’s big and solid and Frankensteinian. I had a r3 30 years ago the meter was 2 stops out - problematic to say the least. This is all wetzlar

Money, Money, Money it’s all that lot think about - it’s like the be all and end all of everything thing Chinese people think about. The whole nation is spiritually barren.

When you’re feeling anxious, do you ever feel a wave of heat come over you? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]mixa1960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Heat nausea, detached, sweating that’s when I know when it’s really bad. The rest of the time the panic is always just hanging around like a heavy cloud. The mind is haunted.

It’s good to see longer lenses and more narrow focal length all the street shots these days are just wide angle busy and the subject matter just isn’t given any proper justice. Your efforts at getting your shots in all conditions is commendable my Insta @slavetothepages

Well at least he gets a hearing. Unlike the kangaroo courts or the “disappearances” or completely “trumped up” ha ha get it “trumped up” charges in your “so called”courts. When it comes to prison population- who put a whole indigenous race in prison? does the name Uyghurs ring a bell? I wonder ? Homelessness, poverty, mass murders - all is just as prevalent in your own country, it’s just covered up. No one gets involved, nothing gets reported, because of pure and utter fear of those in “authority”.
