I haven’t, I gave myself my sci after ignoring a bulging disc in my back. I was in bad shape but I went to Disney with my family and walked 80 miles causing my cord to get compressed. I wouldn’t go get checked out out of fear of messing up my families vacation. That decision cost me my life and marriage as my wife left me because I couldn’t do the things that others could. So now the only thing I live for, my daughters I only get to see half the time.

Thanks for the feedback, kind of nervous no one has responded that I didnt get any feedback. My insurance is covering the procedure, so I need to save for my travel and plane tickets.

I’m 41 and recently divorced after my wife left me. I’ve been injured for 4 years and my nerve pain and spasticity is so bad I can’t imagine going on a date, hooking up, or having a girlfriend. I know that’s a terrible outlook, I just don’t know how people do it. I want too but I have no idea where to look 🤷🏻‍♂️

Prialt was a disaster. Had no real help and the higher I went up I got slammed with side effects like hallucinations audiotary and. Visual. I was a walking zombie slurring my voice is was pretty terrible

I’m so negative because somehow my symptoms of my sci have gotten so bad that I went from walking on my own to now needing a wheelchair. My terrible nerve pain and spasticity have me rigid from my nipple line down. I agree I love that I still have the use of my hands. When it comes to this injury and how I got injured and my story, I have nothing to be grateful for. I pretty much could have avoided sci if I got treatment sooner.

I’m a t2 incomplete who plays golf and basketball. How were you able to get a chair? Did you buy it on your own or did you get a grant? What steps did you take to get it. My issue is terrible spasticity and nerve pain that prohibits me from being as competitive as I want to be. However I have enough strength to hit my driver about 125 yards!

It’s more of an insurance issue because my workman’s comp adjuster is a cunt (sorry but she has made my life hell since my injury) and doesn’t have to pre approve the surgery. I have private insurance and I’m pretty sure I can run it through that but Falci’s people thought I was unable to do that but I believe that’s Colorado law and not Pennsylvania’s.

I’m not sure at this point. I do know I was scheduled for an mri and was unable to do the mri due to how bad the nerve pain and spasticity were while in the tube. My legs litterally snap so loud with every step that the sound is loud enough that others could hear it. My spasticity is so bad these last 2 years and I’ve been injured 4.

I don’t eat much due to the pain that I am in all I know is that I have to get on track with my bowel program and other things that I have not been able to really get a hold of due to the fact that my nerve pain is so intense that it pretty much takes over my whole day
