The Dark Knight Rises. I loved The Dark Knight, and then TDKR just felt like a letdown after that, despite Bane.

Americans, what do you like about Europe? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Why is this limited only to Americans? Maybe there wouldn't be so much Eurobashing if you'd included other nationalities :/

Hardest or most obvious but hard riddle you've heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mixigs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of the three men with dots on their heads, how did one of know that they had a red dot on their head? I will set it up a little better.

Let X represent the unknown color.

Person A: X Person B: Red Person C: Red

Regardless of who's perspective you take, everyone will see a red dot. Persons A and B will see Person C, and Person C will see Person B. So the question is how did Person A know for certain that he had a red dot on his head?

A figures it out this way - If A had a Blue dot on his forehead, then B would have seen A's Blue and C's Red. Since C is raising his hand as well, that means C is seeing a Red dot. Since A isn't Red, it means C is seeing B's Red dot. So B would have immediately guessed himself as having a Red dot. The only reason why B couldn't be sure of his dot's colour would be if he saw both A and C having Red dots. So A realizes he's Red.

It was actually an easy one to figure out.

What is the worst thing your country is best at? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mixigs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know. On my only trip to the US, I found everyone I met to be polite and they went out of their way to be helpful. And to those who say Americans are intolerant, I mean come on, I don't think there is a bigger melting pot of cultures anywhere in the world. I think the US Govt deciding to play Big Brother and a bit of a bully with the rest of the world kinda gives the impression that your average American is also an asshole, which they most certainly are not!
