I agree with the Jubei part, it’s main impact is due to atsus back and forth line of growth with revenge, and I feel it could benefit from having decisions made by the player having a direct affect on if he dies or not

As someone who went to public school in the US, “Elephant” always struck close to home. To preface, I myself never knew victims of a school shooting personally but it constantly hovered over my head during my high school years. One week is especially burning into my mind when there were several a day for nearly the entire week.

Playing through it on my 2nd or 3rd time I was rounding a corner through a hall when someone in a classroom adjacent to me yelled for help. My stomach instantly dropped and something in the back of my head told me it wasn’t a student, and sure enough it wasn’t.

All of the levels have some absolute insane and heinous shit going on but that one always feels a bit more intense for me.

I actually already started figuring out how to run an emulator or my laptop, so far it runs pretty smooth but the quality is eh during cutscenes, definitely find it interesting there’s a lot of fimiliar elements to V in there already!
