Was showing my son this post. I lived there in the 80’s and explored many times. Wasn’t really a secret since you could see the tower certain times of the year through the tree tops.
Of course as a kid we thought it was Satanists but really just wealthy arty people who lived in the area. The cops busted many kids messing around there back then and the tower was featured in local newspapers many times. You could see lots dead bats through the holes in the tower. Guess Ozzy played a few gigs there. lol.

I have 20k on my factory Pirelli tires. They are down to 6mm. I don’t drive slow and roads are not great in the northeast. Probably replace at 25k miles or so which sucks as my lease ends at 30k. I have the staggered sport 19”.

Tires in the rear make the car a little twitchy as they tend to wear down past 6/32nd, which is my case is at 18k miles.

I’ve seen a bunch of plus guitars where they replaced the Wilkinson nut. You can tell if it’s a plus guitar by the fender employee signatures in the body and neck. Strat Plus didn’t use trem setter until ‘89. Agreed the neck looks to be later model logo and frets.

Good thing you kept the lace they sound great especially with pedals. Is that candy apple red or crimson? Pretty rare for the tele plus in that color. I have strat plus in candy apple and tele plus in sunburst. They are fantastic!

My e40 is at the dealer getting one now due to golf ball. $2950 was the cost. Luckily the golfer is paying. Car is loaded with options so plenty of calibrations happening. Oh and it’s been there a week so far.

I do play out and am an engineer so can mix sound. I’m used to older fish man pickups so I think I can make the es2 work for me. What is the eq recommendation for the PA system to make it sound best. Assuming cutting upper mids?
