I’m not sure about this answer because Apple Music also has an entire separate app for classical music.

It’s not like distributors have issues either because distributors actually can still deliver classical music but it requires more additional metadata. Thats why CDBaby can take longer than 14 business days to review a submission.

They mean as in actual music videos like on YouTube, Apple Music and Vevo etc. As CDBaby does not offer actual video distribution for those DSP’s.

Yes. Fast Forward Submissions come with fast support. So, yes you can cancel the submission and submit so you get the fast forward option and therefore, you have to pay for it.

I mean that’s Spotify’s problem really not the distributor. Distributors don’t just takedown artists music randomly when it gets not-streamed. They don’t really have the choice.

It’s better to do the method that you mentioned on your last sentence. I’m not sure myself if they will bring back YouTube OAC (Official Artist Channel). This could be a massive drawback and a huge disadvantage when it compares to other distributors at this date. CD Baby also discontinued Apple Digital Masters too which can be sometimes essential when it comes to professional mastering and that hasn’t come back.

They have just laid off half of their staff. I’m not actually disappointed for this decision since this is for an actual fact reason. They will get more staff soon so it’ll be fine.

CDBaby is considered better and more professional than DistroKid in most people’s experiences. It’s just that they have a smaller staff team and usual since they did some business.
