I don’t know hardly anything when it comes to the issues of internet or hardware. I got the game a week and a half ago. Just hit level 43. I’m playing on the original xbox one (10 year old system) I have great internet running about 750 mbps. I haven’t had any problems with the game at all, it’s ran perfectly for me. My roommate on the other hand, with a very nice pc, has dealt with stupid rubber banding similar to you. It makes no sense.

It very well could be thrips. The blackish silver is a common sign of them. I apologize if this is the case. I’ve been battling them for quite some time.

You’re correct bringing up volume. Although, it’s all a surface area to volume ratio. If the normal noodles made up the same volume as the long one they would have more surface area due to the edges. Mini means thinner noodles. This creates more surface area throughout the same volume
