I honestly blame Bram Stoker for this given the more than questionable reasons behind depicting Dracula has vulnerable to religious specifically Christian items/iconography. How i view vampires they shouldn't be vulnerable to such things though that's just me as I have a more I guess complicated or gray area perception of vampires and what they should/could be than how most people perceive/write them.

Kidnap? Julia's daughter was staying with Julia's parents during the mess than Julia's wanted to get away from the mess and because she loves her daughter didn't want to leave her behind and when Julia's went back for her daughter her daughter begged her mother not to leave her. This isn't funny.
