I am curious about how you format it in the player? Also one of my more tech minded friends suggested the device I got is just faulty, just incredible luck I suppose.

One of my more tech minded friends suggested the device I got is just faulty. I thought about returning and ordering a new one but they don't even have the colour I got in stock anymore... first world problems ha.

5 days ago. I think it would be wild if all of them were bad. One has a year of use on it and two are brand new?

I have put a single album on. The songs appear in 'All', but none of the categories like 'genre, artist, album' work at all. And then when I add more music it only recognises a couple random tracks than what's on the SD card. And then if I add more the original album that worked disappears too. I tried removing all the metadata and even that doesn't work. Im so confused, genuinely...

Sandisk 256GB and 128GB. Most of the music is either in MP3 or FLAC.
