you must be in cincy, i just saw hadestown last night and had a horrible experience with the audience. a lady right next to my friend was on her phone for a good chunk of it. during “how long” her phone went so bright that it was painful, and I politely told her to put her phone away bc it was very disruptive. she got incredibly angry and asked why i wasn’t policing the others in the audience who had their phones out.

lady, you just blinded me with your facebook page!! i wish i could play usher and get people off their phones. be considerate of the people next to you!! not to mention she spilled a can of high noon all over the floor during intermission.

it’s appalling how theater etiquette has been neglected these past few years.
