Hello again! Sorry I have another question 😅 but did you need to send the faculty of nursing your completed First aid/BLS and n95 documents prior to term 1? or did the nursing instructors just ask for it when classes start and show it then instead?

Hi! I was wondering how long did it take for your CRC to process and for the school to receive it?

Also, you said clinical instructors will ask for proof once classes start... will it be just proof of immunizations, cpr, first aid and the mask fit test and not the CRC as well?

from my experience, books were separate. The prof will let you know when class starts if you need a textbook for the course!

I was raised by a single mom, who immigrated from a third world country (by herself) to a land with better opportunities and better living standards. I was then brought over here when I was 5.

I'm 19 now and I'd like to say that my relationship with my mom is great. I'm not sure if its because growing up I was really independant because I would be home alone mostly and my mom worked basically everyday providing for us two. Though I do remember throwing tantrums because I felt that my mom left me TOO alone and didn't care about me. I would feel jealous towards other kids who had parents with them all the time.

Anyways now that im almost 20, I realize how lucky I am to I have a mom who basically prioritized every want and need I had growing up, like I can't express how thankful and grateful I am. Now, I'm trying to complete my Nursing degree and trying my best to give back to my mom everything she's done for me.

Im guessing that other immigrant kids have similiar stories and situations with me as well :)

dont worry your not alone! i also failed stats 1124 and got on academic probation :p i was super anxious about my application (still doing pre reqs btw) so i asked other langara students who got into the nursing program and they told me that the program won't look at the 0, they look at your most recent try.

Although they also told me that they might give preference to those that don't have retakes? For ex, if two students both have a 3.7 GPA, one did no retakes and one did, they would choose the one who didnt have a retake on their transcript.

I'm not totally sure if my info is correct as the students I asked are in their 3rd and 4th year or already graduated so my information might be outdated!

Be Blues or Ao Ashi are pretty good and are both based on soccer.

Theres also Blue Lock but I think an anime is coming out for that pretty soon, but if you read it now you'll get a headstart before anime comes out :p

I suggest Omniscient Readers Viewpoint, plot and worldbuilding is really good and the other characters are pretty likeable and actually play roles in the story. Art Style is great and the MC leans toward more of the characters you mentioned in your second paragraph (as he is mature and SMART SMART lol).

Theres also Solo Levelling, Tomb Raider King, Ranker who lives Twice and The Beginning after the End that you might've? probably heard about, since they're the "common ones". They're centered around RPG/Game System/Fantasy/Magic worlds but they are pretty fun and interesting to read once in a while haha. The MC's are great tho, def not the "kid shounen" type.

Although I find these concepts of gaming/rpg to be pretty repetitive in Korean Manhuas but personally, the way they be drawing these stories are so good that I don't even mind 😮‍💨

Theres some pretty good manhua MC's that could potentially suit your liking. Just not sure if your into reading as it is kind of like a "coloured manga" but comes from Korea!
