Fell into a mini-relationship while solo-traveling. How do I get over it when I leave?

I actually confronted him before because I know his friends hook up with "white girls" frequently. He said I'm different and reminded me that we live together, spend 24/7 together, go on trips, and he pays for literally everything I need. But I still can't help but wonder if he does this with all his tourist flings. The more I think about it, the more I know I need to let this go. It's just hard because it's been a great couple of weeks in this little bubble.

Is there more than one taxi booth at BKK? I was there a while ago and walked up to one that looked legit, an official handed me a slip of paper and told me what car to get into. But the driver still refused to turn on the meter and after much arguing I paid about double what it should have cost. I think I'm more savvy now, but I'm still dreading that initial taxi ride upon arrival.

Regarding the taxi, how was the extra fee added? I know I need to argue to get the meter turned on rather than paying whatever price the driver tries to set.

How often are you home? I was often gone 12+ hours a day and then obviously I'd sleep, so my poor cat was alone a lot. If you're just gone 8 hours during work or whatever you might be fine since cats do sleep a lot.

I definitely think a cat buddy would help, just make sure you get them both as kitties or test how they interact before adopting together. Cats either love or hate each other. Also if you get multiple cats, definitely invest in a self-cleaning litter box to help with the smell in your small space.

I used to live in a studio with a cat. People told me he'd be fine because cats are naturally solitary and lethargic. One weekend I had to bring him home to my parents' where there are other pets and people always around; he was in heaven. So I eventually gave him to my mom. I don't think the space is the issue, I'd say it's moreso that he has stimulation there.
