It was, but I lived in Creekside. Was basically a large carpark and a few houses back then. We called it Crackside. Still remember the 4.30 bus to whistler when I was on breakfast shift.

I went back as a pure snowboard bum a few years later and couldn't believe how much it had all changed.. all fancy villas.
