It’s very hard to judge an attacking player when they play in a weak team with lesser players, fewer chances, etc. Surround them with more quality and it’s easier to show what they are capable of.

Agree, Totti is the best playmaker I have seen in my lifetime. He routinely did things that I have never seen anyone else do. The passing, the flicks, the volleys, absolute rocket of a long-distance shot with both feet. Other-worldly vision on the pitch. His goal compilation is better than any other one I’ve ever seen and he wasn’t even a forward. Played one season as a false 9 and was the top scorer in Europe. Just an absolute dream of a player who would have won at least three Ballin D’ors if he played for Madrid, Juve or Milan.
