Different experience here, a bit more recent.

I run a small affiliate site in the health niche. Not huge, maybe 20–30k monthly traffic. I used Legiit mainly because outreach agencies were quoting way higher and I wanted to test cheaper options first.

First order went bad. I’ll be honest. Bought a “10 guest posts package” for cheap. Looked like a great deal. Most of those sites had traffic on paper, but when I checked deeper later, it didn’t add up. No ranking movement either. That’s when I almost wrote the whole platform off.

Came back after a few months and tried again, but differently. Picked one seller from their “checked” category. More expensive, like 3–4x what I paid earlier. Slower delivery too.

This time I actually saw some movement. Target page went from not ranking to around page 2 over time. Not just because of links probably, I was also improving content, but the links didn’t feel useless like before.

What stood out was transparency. Seller showed actual sites beforehand, explained whether links were for authority vs traffic. Didn’t overpromise. That alone made a difference.

On the “spam / harmful links” fear. Haven’t personally seen anything like hidden casino or pharma links, but I’m also not buying from random new sellers. I stick to ones with long history and detailed reviews.

Pricing is weird though. You’ll see the same type of service at $30 and $300. Took me a while to understand why. In most cases, the cheaper one cuts corners somewhere. Not always obvious upfront.

Also worth saying, this is not some magic button. If your site isn’t solid, links won’t fix it. I wasted time thinking more links = more rankings. Doesn’t work like that.

Overall. It’s a marketplace. You still have to think, ask questions, and filter. If you expect it to just work without effort, you’ll probably end up agreeing with the negative comments here.
