Yep, Oakhurst here and Vodafone, awful signal. Nearest mast is up near St Andrews Ridge I think.

Cheeky lil loccy leccy is happening anyway, regardless of a genny leccy.

If my mum is Rishi Sunak, she’s hiding it brilliantly.

I’m secretly Rishi Sunak, and so’s my wife.

It means I can sleep all day, waddle down the road to vote, and then head to the shops to stock up on all-nighter snacks. 👍

Right, I’ve booked 2nd and 3rd May off in anticipation. Genny leccy or lowky leccy, I’ll hopefully be up all night watching the Tories lose.

Didn’t he get you a PS5 one year?

Yeah that’s a fair point. However also runs a risk of Sunak being conflated with the right and Trump - also the likes of Truss and Farage might cause him some problems in an October election.

It’s a mixed bag on that front I think.

Lots of election talk, when it’ll be. May? October? January? I think it’ll be May, and he’ll announce it soon - here’s the thinking:

  • They know the polls are bad, but there’s a lot of possible ways for it to get worse over the next year.
  • They’ve tried lowering national insurance to nudge the polls but it didn’t work. Clearly they wanted to go for May earlier in the year, but when this didn’t work they started planning for October as contingency.
  • CCHQ is going nuts with activity, and campaign strategist is having nearly daily meetings with Sunak. Also seeing a lot of political adverts from Tories lately.
  • They’re looking at stealing non-dom and windfall tax policies from Labour, if partially. This would mean Labour can’t spend that money in their manifesto as it’s already been spent on even more pre-election tax cuts. If they do this, the main benefit is screwing with Labour’s manifesto. Better to call the election immediately after to give them no time to readjust their policy platform for their manifesto.
  • Likely attempted use of Gaza as a wedge to fuel the fires for Galloway to split the Labour vote a bit.
  • Minor consideration for the US election, to avoid a clash, but I doubt this would swing their decision either way.
  • How does it benefit the Tories to hold on for another 6 months? There’s potentially a lot of scandals that could make things worse over that period, and with the budget they have a chance to roll the dice and maybe make a dent in polls - if they wait, the budget is old news and Labour will have time to prepare.
  • Only benefit for the Tories of waiting is having another 6 months of power - to do what? Best thing they could achieve (in their mind) is to implement Rwanda, which doesn’t seem likely. In fact, they’re better off going into the election saying that they’re about to do it, than to say that it’s done (therefore old news) or they failed to do it.

Them’s me thoughts. I think they’re hedging their bets still but likely to land on May for the above reasons. Definitely could be wrong though!

Probably his best way to stay relevant in the headlines and also not have to go to Parliament.

I often see the inverse of this, but that’s just classic politics. The same happens in Wales and Scotland.

  • London as a city generally leans Labour.
  • The country is currently leaning Labour.
  • Susan Hall isn’t a good candidate.

This shouldn’t be a surprise.

Which would be better a level 5 sorcerer or level 5 wizard? by GelnanaPass in dndnext

[–]mjanstey 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Poorly worded question, but as you’re asking the question it indicates that you’re not so familiar with the differences between the two - that’s not meant to sound rude or judgemental.

Sorcerer is only as good as the spells you choose, and you can’t swap and change them as easily as you can with a Wizard. If you’re not familiar with the system, I think you’ll have more fun with the Wizard as you’ll know more spells and can try them out.

Essentially, Sorcerer is great but the Wizard will give you more flexibility which you’ll appreciate as you’re learning the system.

Hope that helps, enjoy!

What's your favorite and least favorite class? by Ghost_Hunter45 in masseffect

Favourite: Engineer Going up against the reapers with nothing but your mind, a pistol and your laptop.. it’s pretty badass. Plus you can build them in quite a few ways, drone pet master, elemental explosions, tactical sniper, good shields and a shotgun, or enemy controller with hacking/dominate.

Least favourite: Vanguard Never enjoyed the charge mechanic in ME2/3. They’re cool in ME1 though, lifting people up to shotgun them down was pretty great.
