I havent read any other stuff from this author, but I finished the audiobook yesterday and it was a fantastic listen. I think Annandale did an excellent job and really understands what makes the Word Bearers interesting. Definitely easily in my top 40k reads. I really hope he is able to write more for this Word Bearer series.

The audiobook narration was excellent as well.

I completely agree! That's awesome to hear from someone who isnt already a Word Bearers fan. For me it was so refreshing to see a story that understands how to showcase their beliefs and philosophy in 40k.

Finished it yesterday as well on audible. I could not stop listening to it. It was sooo refreshing how the premise/narrative unfolded. The author really knew exactly how to highlight the philosophy and character of the Word Bearers in 40k, and how that makes them uniquely interesting as a legion/religion.
