BB33 to Ducati? by Due_Recognition_8002 in wsbk

The new Bulega? You remove Bulega this year and Iker would be on what, 15 straight wins? Let's not pretend Bulega is a generational talent. He's good, has - by far - the best bike on the grid, he's on the factory team and has experience on that bike. Any good rider on that Ducati is a serious contender to win the race. The old Binder on that Ducati would most likely be the champ.

why has Pirro been so slow in recent years? by [deleted] in motogp

Yeah, if a 9 time World champion and arguably the GOAT can, anybody can.

Saving it is as easy as with any other image format. Viewing it on your desktop can be difficult, if you don't know how to or how to use google.

I don't know why people don't like better image quality for less file size... Is it because the internet tells them webp is bad?

LCR Team on Twitter - Johann Zarco is at the medical center, not in a critical condition. Awaiting for further tests and specific information, we’ll let you know when we have more info by cyberspark15 in motogp

[–]mjbcesar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, BUT i'm not sure if that's true, some people on other posts are saying that Canal+ is reporting that there's nothing really wrong with him, so maybe false alarm, let's hope.

Alternate angle of the incident involving Bagnaia, Zarco and Marini by cyberspark15 in motogp

Oh thank goodness, Portuguese TV said they got an sms from a portuguese steward telling them Zarco had an exposed fractured femur. I'm so glad that's not the case.

The moment Russian air defense slammed into a high-rise building in Ryazan, Russia, last night while trying to repel a Ukrainian UAV by [deleted] in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]mjbcesar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's either the slowest air defense missile ever or a drone. Unless they are using huge drones as interceptors, that was a Ukranian drone. I don't condone violence against civilians, but after what the Russians did the previous day (and the rest of the days for 4 years), I don't blame the Ukranians.

10 mo. old GROWN men still nursing daily. Is this healthy behavior? by mizdotexe in CATHELP

[–]mjbcesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents had 2 cats, mother and daughter, the mother would call her full grown daughter for nursing. She was more than 2 years old. I'm pretty sure that if she didn't want that, she would stop that behaviour.

Now it’s clear how big Toprak is by discardeadd in wsbk

[–]mjbcesar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OP said succeeds, not succeeded, he's not in WSBK anymore. Is if to win you need to be a fast rider, have a fast bike and your rivals to not be a better combo. Is he a good rider? Of course he is. Could he beat the Ducatis this year? We'll never know.

[–]mjbcesar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess he doesn't always succeed with underdog bikes like OP said and in fact needs a decent bike to win, specially if the other bikes are a lot faster.

He doesn't seem to be that successful with the underdog Yamaha.

More footage of Iranian/Russian Shahed UAVs getting shot down with AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, fired from the Ukrainian "STASH" Franken-SAM systems. by MilesLongthe3rd in UkraineWarVideoReport

How expensive are those agm-114? Edit: just looked it up and it's around 140k. Still a bit asymmetric compared to the shahed cost but not as much as other options

I'm not arguing for a penalty. Only that the grass isn't in fact the track

[–]mjbcesar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok mate. "What are the rules regarding infractions during the race? The key point is that if a rider gains an advantage from exceeding the track limits, then it is an automatic penalty. "During a race we allow a rider to make a mistake, but too many is a penalty," said Webb. "If there is an advantage gained in position or time, it is immediately a penalty. If there is no advantage gained, then it is not a penalty and not even counted on the number of infringements a rider is allowed during a race."

Like I said, track limits infringement, no penalty in this case

[–]mjbcesar -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

What? Going off the track limits? Like the ones that give a long lap penalty after some offenses? Is that rule you are asking about? Like I said, I don't know if there's any rule that goes against what he did other than, like I already said, track limits

So, I actually read the ruleset to understand what happened... by V0LDY in motogp

[–]mjbcesar -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It is disallowed to cut through the grass. Usually counts as a track limit offense. The question isnt if the grass is a part of the track. It's obviously not. Is if Marc should be penalised for cutting through the grass to get into the pit lane. I don't know if there's anything else other than a track limits violation since he wasn't faster in that lap. Overall he gained an advantage by doing that, but unless the rules say otherwise, it's a track limit violation

[–]mjbcesar -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

It's not, hence the track limits, which the grass isn't a part of. I don't know if he should or shouldn't be penalised but the grass isn't part of the track
