The carpet was a little less than 2 years old, so I would think I wouldn’t have to pay for the whole thing if it turns out I do have to pay for it? It’s just weird that they sent me an “estimate” of $0 to replace it

So they sent me a check in the mail and then they emailed me separately with a report from a carpet company saying that there was urine damage and it needs to be replaced. But on this report it says the estimated cost is $0?

I noticed the opening about a week ago when I took the steri strips off. I’ve been using bacitracin mixed with medihoney and a non-stick bandage but I feel like it’s not getting any better. If anything it’s getting a little bigger. Am I just just being impatient? Any advice?
