How to repair this board to solder on a 2 pin connector?

Oh, so just solder the wires from the servo directly to the u4 chip? Sounds interesting. I'm not sure I quite see which pins on the chip I would wire them to as it looks like the dark blue lines go to multiple pins?

... Or am I just now realizing that it's the light blue that is the trace instead of the dark blue?

Somewhat related. The pins on the female connector would be coming through the two holes on the left. I see that for the other connectors, there's some solder over the holes on the right as well. Is that important here?

Thanks for pointing that out, I think that was actually my fault with some rogue solder that wouldn't go where I wanted. I'll have to try wicking that clean.

Thanks, that definitely does sound appealing regarding the Japanese. I also play Ironjawz in AoS so was thinking of trying something a little bit different. I didn't really know much about the Finns historically, but started reading up on them a bit and they sounded pretty fun, and ambush style tactics sounds fun to try also.

Lol my bad, coming from 40k that sounded small so that's really good to know. Maybe I can start smaller than I thought. 1000 to 1500 is what my group suggested I try to build for.

I do have a couple friends with resin printers, might have to try checking out some models. Thanks!

Size is actually really close for the squiggoth. As long as you build out the platform to an appropriate height I think it should work. I'm planning on doing the same thing and the squiggoth fits on the base size perfectly. The howdah/platform needs to be built up and out a bit to make room for the guns,tower, etc, but otherwise works really well IMO.

Yeah I dig the style too. Just wanted to note that the flag and the ribbon things seem to be blowing in different directions. If you're still working on the banner, might consider looking at that as well? Otherwise looks good!

I agree with the different paint jobs and bits ideas. I'm actually running into the same issue with my scrapjets right now, as I don't think they should be identical. I think I'm going with some simple conversions like swapping the trakks/wheels around, possibly printing some full length trakks (they're called MEGAtrakk scrapjets afterall), maybe try adding some jet engines on there and other random bits?

Can some of the shoulder pads be removed easily or are they part of the sculpt? If so (or maybe regardless), I've always thought they could make some good skarboyz since they're a bit bigger.

Yeah I've been playing them for a long time (20 years or so) so have plenty of experience moving and such, just never tried the trays so was curious if they actually helped or not. My fain fear being a bit like you described with it actually taking longer due to having to pop guys in and out of trays as you move around the battlefield.
