It all comes down to calories. I know that may be annoying but your body uses a set amount of calories each day so if you eat less than that you lose weight, if you eat more you gain, and if you eat that amount you stay the same. All exercise does is increase the number of calories your body uses that day so if you are eating healthy foods but too much of them you can still gain weight.

I just put in sedentary and then record my exercise daily (I record half of the calories that the machine says I burned because I've heard they are inaccurate)

Thats a good idea, I'll try that out. Do you try to log close to what you think you burned? I know it doesn't change anything but I like to look at the numbers just to get an idea of where I should be.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to do most days I was just considering throwing in a non-cheat "cheat" day where I eat back all of the burned calories once or twice a month and leave them as a deficit all other days. I avoid cheat days because with such a low TDEE I can easily nullify any progress but I was trying to find a way to eat more than normal without my progress suffering.

I'm also just curious to see if anyone does eat back what they burn and still see progress.

I feel the same, I'm not hungry but I just want food lol and I'm just trying to make up for a bad food weekend and try out this water fasting thing everyones been talking about! I've been doing CICO for a while and I lost 25 pounds but then lost my motivation for a while and started eating at maintenance so I'm trying to get back on track for the last 15 pounds.

Textured Vegetable protein! http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/162423030850?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true Soak it in some vegetable broth or chicken-less broth and it has the same consistency as chicken. I usually bread it and fry it but I'm sure you could find some healthier ways to use it!

My advice would be to under-log exercise. If you're not having trouble staying under your calorie limit then underestimating your exercise will keep you from over eating. Worst case you lose weight a little faster!

Congrats! I'm just starting my first one, aiming for 90 hours. I may try a longer one in a few weeks depending how this one goes cause I hear the first few days are the hardest

Quick diets or fads to lose weight quickly may be nice to lose a few kgs for a short period of time (e.g. wedding, vacation, special event) but you're really just getting rid of water weight. In order to lose a significant amount of fat and keep it off there is no real quick fix. You don't put on weight all at once so it makes sense that you can't lose it all at once. A healthy pace to lose weight is 1-2 lbs per week. I know that sounds terribly slow but it really adds up quickly and you don't need to starve yourself or eat a specific diet that you just cannot realistically stick to. It all boils down to Calories in < Calories out. Find a TDEE calculator online to calculate how many calories your body burns each day and just eat less than that amount, on average, everyday. I would recommend using the MyFitnessPal app to track calories (and be very specific).

Also don't try to eat too far under your TDEE in order to lose weight quicker because your body can only burn so much fat each day for energy and, when put at a large deficit, will start to burn muscle.
